We know that our spectators and riders come out to see racing and that is what you will see at Mid-America.
Track prep starts early in the week which means that the amount of maintenance required on race night is minimal.
All of our events starts promptly at 7:00pm and racing typically ends by 10:30pm.
Entry fees will be $20 for all youth classes and $25 for adult classes. All riders will have to purchase a pit pass. Pit passes are $10 for adults age 10 and over, $5 for kids 5-9, and free for riders under age 4 and under. Grandstand tickes are $8 for adults, $4 for kids 5-9, and age 4 and under are free.
All 50cc youth riders will receive a trophy.
All riders are automatically entered into the 2012 Mid-America points series. First place will receive a $50 certificate that can be used at a 2013 event, second place receives a $30 certificate, and third place receives a $20 certificate. You must enter 51% of the the events run in 2012 to be eligible for a year end award.
From time to time, additional money is put into the purse by a sponsor or an individual. This money will be paid in addition to the amounts posted below. The business or individual putting up the money will determine how the money is paid out.
We offer a trophy buy back in all trophy classes. The payout amout varies with the number of entries. See payout chart posted below.
We will be strictly enforcing a 98 decibel limit at all practices and races. Speedway bikes will be limited to 96 decibels. This rule will be strictly enforced on both race and practice nights, and no exceptions will be made.
Age is determined by actual age on day of race
With the exception of the 50cc classes, all motorcycles must have a flat track or trials type tire on the rear wheel. Quads must have flat track type tires on the front and rear. Please note that the Duro HF245 ATV racing tire is not permitted, even though it is marketed as a flat track tire.
All motorcycles must have number plates on the front, and both sides. Quads must have a number plate mounted on the front, rear, and both sides. The rear and side number plates should be vertically mounted so that the number can be read from a distance of 75'. In place of a rear number plate, a rider can have his number on the back of his/her jersey.
Five riders required to make a class, if less than five riders are entered in a class, we may move those riders to a similar class based on age, ability, and equipment.
