Mirror Lake State Park
Mirror Lake covers over 2000 acres and is just three miles from Wisconsin Dells. Sandstone bluffs surround half the lake which offers excellent fishing, swimming and canoeing & kayaking. Wooded campsites, picnic areas, a boat landing, and miles of biking, hiking and cross-country ski trails.
Rocky Arbor is located within a mile and a half of Wisconsin Dells and offers over eighty wooded campsites, while pine trees and sandstone bluffs offer a cool escape to the picnicker or hiker in this summer park.
*There is something for everyone at Mirror Lake State Park. The skier, snowshoer, and the angler. The outdoor world does continue to exist during the winter months and nature is willing to pay some extra dividends for those hardy enough to seek them out during that time. Skiers, will be happy to learn that 17.8 miles (28.5 kin) of cross-country ski trails have been developed for their winter sport. Future developments are being planned for additional trails. Snowshoers may want to try a hike through some of the other areas of the park suitable for that activity. Another popular winter activity at Mirror Lake is ice fishing. Hardy anglers are often rewarded with good catches of pan fish and an occasional northern pike or bass.
