What makes Mission Ridge Ski and Board Resort different from every other ski area in Washington? It's our combination of sunshine, dry snow and wide open spaces! Only 12 miles from Wenatchee, Mission Ridge has over 36 designated runs spread over 2,000 spectacular acres of trails, chutes groomers and bowls with a thrilling 2,250 foot vertical drop. We also have 66 acres of snowmaking, more than any other area in the state, along with a high speed quad ride to the summit where you can take in the views of Mount Rainier and Mount Stuart to the west, Mount Adams to the sound and the majestic Columbia River to the north. As stated in Seattle Magazine, March 2007 issue: This spring, head east three hours to Mission Ridge, our state's best kept ski secret. Situated on the sunny side of the Cascades near Wenatchee, the ski area offers boarders and two plankers 1,000 acres of dry (!) powder, cheap lift tickets and short lift lines. Think of it as a junior Sun Valley, Idaho! A must do for March!

Family Fun in the Powder & Sun

Light powder. Tons of sun. Amazing views. Terrain that fits everyone in the family. That's us. Only 12 miles from Wenatchee, the ski area is built into a 2,000 acre basin on the eastern side of the Cascade Mountains. We are quite different than most of the other mountains in our area. We are a little higher. A little drier. And quite a bit "sunshinier" (300 days annually, in fact). That means when storms come in, they drop a different kind of snow at Mission Ridge: light, dry powder.

Mission Ridge has more than 36 designated runs spread over 2,000 spectacular acres of trails, chutes, screamers and bowls, with a thrilling 2,250 foot vertical drop. Arriving two weeks after a storm? No problem. Mission Ridge has some amazing backcountry that is about as easy to access as you'll find. If you plan on heading out to these areas, be sure to check in with the ski patrol and Know Before You Go!
