The Museum of the Weird is located on 6th Street in downtown Austin. We are in the same building as Lucky Lizard Curios & Gifts. There are plenty of paid parking lots around the area. If you can find a space on 6th Street, it is mostly free 2 hour parking, and metered spaces are free after 5:30pm Monday through Wednesday. Parking is free all day Sunday.
It is absolutely free to enter the gift shop, entrance to the museum is only $8 adults, $5 for kids under 8. Senior citizen, student, and military discounts are available as well.
