Welcome! Mystique Community Ice Center is home to the Dubuque Fighting Saints!!

Mystique Community Ice Center is owned by the City of Dubuque, Iowa and managed by Dubuque Community Ice and Recreation Center, Inc. (a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.

  • MCIC hosts a wide variety of hockey programs for people of all ages.
  • The $7.1 million dollar building was opened on September 18, 2010 and is managed by professional staff, headed by General Manager Ron Breitbach.

Public Skate

If you have never been on skates before, skated when you were in school but haven't since, love to skate but the ice schedule didn't work, or need to brush up on your skill set, you have come to the right place. Public sessions are available at various times throughout the week, so turn off the TV and get off the couch; it's time for a fun way to exercise.

Hockey

Youth Hockey programs are run by the Dubuque Youth Hockey Association (DYHA).

The high school team is called the Dubuque Devils and is made up of players from all three Dubuque High Schools (Senior, Hempstead and Wahlert) and surrounding communities as well as a few 8th grade students from Dubuque middle schools.

MCIC is home to the Dubuque Fighting Saints. This Junior Hockey team competes in the USHL Tier 1 junior program in USA Hockey.

Skating Lessons

These classes will provide the beginner skater with technique and confidence. Cost is only $75.00 for the 6 week class package and includes rental, instruction and practice time. Instruction begins at 5:15pm.
