The Nature & Raptor Center of Pueblo is located in beautiful Rock Canyon on the banks of the Arkansas River. A delicate blend of aquatic, riparian, transition and semi-arid grassland habitats provide homes to a wealth of plants and animals.
Mission
The Mission of the Nature and Raptor Center of Pueblo is to provide unique experiences in education, conservation and recreation that inspire responsible environmental decision making.
- We offer our facilities for meetings, parties, family reunions, memorials and weddings!
- Rent our Yurt for business meetings and take a walk along the trail for lunch.
- BBQ at our covered Pavilion alongside the Arkansas River.
- The Deck overlooks the Arkansas River in front of the Coyote Grille Restaurant.
- Picnic at the Herb Garden by the playground with close access to the river and trail.
- We will be opening our Welcome Hut for the season on Saturday March 16th!
Spring is here! Come down to the river and enjoy a picnic this weekend! We will have a friendly attendant collecting Day Pass Fees and checking Membership Decals at our entrance. We look forward to your support!
