Nickelodeon Theatre

The Nickelodeon Theatre is a 99 seat theater located in Columbia SC on the corner of Main and Taylor Streets, adjacent to the Mast General Store. In operation since 1979, "the Nick", run by the Columbia Film Society, is home to three film screenings daily, and special series with extra showtimes. The Nick is the only non-profit art house film theater in South Carolina and is the home for over 25,000 filmgoers each year.Patrons 65 years of age and older are eligible for our Senior Citizen discount.

Refund Policy

Tickets may be refunded up to 24 hours before the screening. Those screenings which have sold out will have a wait list and will be sold on first come, first serve basis. Those with tickets to these screenings may obtain refund up to 24 hours before the screening.

Late Arrivals

The theater reserves the right to stop selling tickets and seating patrons after a film has started.

Outside Food and Drink

Patrons are not permitted to bring outside food and drink into the theater except for food and desserts from Paradise Ice and Candy Barrel candy from Mast General. No glass bottles are allowed in the theater for safety reasons. The theatre is not permitted to store patrons left-over food or drink due to DHEC regulations.

Age Policy

The theatre allows children, accompanied by an adult, to come to screenings at the parental figure's discretion.

Membership Policy

A membership is non-transferable and can be used only for the benefit of the named holder.
