Accredited by the American Association of Museums, the Oklahoma City Museum of Art serves over 130,000 visitors annually from all 50 states and over 30 foreign countries and presents exhibitions drawn from throughout the world. The Museum's collection covers a period of five centuries with highlights in European and American art from the nineteenth through twenty-first centuries, a growing collection of contemporary art, and a comprehensive collection of glass sculpture by Dale Chihuly. The Museum boasts the region's premiere repertory cinema, which screens the finest international, independent, and classic films, and is home to the Museum School, which offers classes for students of all ages as well as art camps for children. Amenities include the Museum Store, a roof terrace, and the Museum Cafe, a full-service restaurant, offering lunch, dinner, Sunday brunch, afternoon tea, a full bar, and catering services.

Donald W. Reynolds Visual Arts Center

Consisting of three floors of galleries, the Museum School, Noble Theater, and Museum Cafe, the Donald W. Reynolds Visual Arts Center is located in the Arts District of downtown Oklahoma City between Hudson and Walker Avenues on Couch Drive. The Museum in the Donald W. Reynolds Visual Arts Center opened in 2002 and was designed by Allen Brown Architects.

Library Resource Center

Open to the public and located on the mezzanine level of the Museum, the Library Resource Center features a collection of 5,000 non-circulating books and periodicals and provides circulating teaching aids for educators to use in their classrooms.

Noble Theater

Incorporating the original 1947 Centre Theater as an adaptive reuse project, the 250-seat Noble Theater features a state-of-the-art projection system and is home to the Museum's film program, which offers screenings every Thursday through Sunday.

Museum School

Offering year-round, multiple-week classes and one-time workshops, Museum School is a creative outlet for children and adults. Sessions incorporate learning in the galleries and are presented in the Museum's three classrooms, located on the ground floor of the east side of the Donald W. Reynolds Visual Arts Center.

Lobbies

The Oklahoma City Museum of Art has two lobbies, one at the atrium entrance to the building's west, near Walker Avenue, and the second at the theater box office to the building's east, near Hudson Avenue. Each features large-scale glass installations by Dale Chihuly.

Atrium Lobby

The Eleanor Blake Kirkpatrick Memorial Tower, created by Dale Chihuly, was commissioned by the Oklahoma City Museum of Art in 1999. This monumental sculpture was created for the Donald W. Reynolds Visual Arts Center atrium entrance in memory of the late Eleanor Blake Kirkpatrick, a Museum founder.

Theater Lobby

The Waterford Crystal Chandelier, one of two Chihuly Waterford Crystal Chandeliers in the world, is comprised of 203 individual blown lead crystal parts, each etched by Waterford artisans. The Chandelier is 9 feet, 7 inches in height, 5 feet, 5 inches in diameter, and weighs 2,000 pounds. It is mounted in the Noble Theater lobby. It may be viewed from the ground floor or from the mezzanine, which overlooks the theater lobby.

Roof Terrace

The Roof Terrace is open to the public on Thursday evenings (May-October) from 5 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. for Cocktails on the Skyline. The Roof Terrace is a gathering place for downtown workers, adventurous suburbanites, pre-concert and filmgoers, and the art crowd. Located atop the three-story Donald W. Reynolds Visual Arts Center, the Roof Terrace offers a spectacular view of downtown Oklahoma City. Thursday evening admission is $5 after 5 p.m. and always FREE FOR MEMBERS.
