Orangeburg County Library





The Orangeburg County Library is a Countywide system with libraries in Orangeburg, North, Holly Hill, Elloree, Springfield, Santee, a bookmobile, and book deposits for senior citizens at several locations. Governed by a seven-member Board of Trustees appointed by the Orangeburg County Council, the Library's primary funding comes from Orangeburg County, with additional support from the State of South Carolina, through federal grants for specific projects, and from private donations.

Services
Information Services
Free and individual information assistance is available in the library. Queries about the collection and questions with short, factual answers also can be answered by telephone.
Public Access Computers
Public computers are available at all of the libraries in the County system. These computers provide access to the Internet, Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, etc.), and some educational games. At the main library, patrons under the age of 15 must use the computers in the children's department. Children under the age of 8 must have an adult accompany them at the computer at all times
