Palatka Art League
The Palatka Art League,Inc. is a non profit organization consisting of artists and crafters from Palatka and surrounding areas that strive to bring art, crafts, and culture to the community. With aproximately 50 members, PAL is steadily growing and invites new artists and crafters to join.
Area artists and crafters paint, craft, and share their artistic knowledge through workshops, classes, festivals, and events. The PAL gives art scholarships to deserving students in Putnam County. PAL members work closely with the Conlee Mural Committee to bring some of the beautiful murals through out downtown Palatka. The PAL has also participated in the wildflower mural in downtown Palatka.
Working with the city, the PAL is maintaining the historic Tilghman House, which is their home at 324 River Street, Palatka, Florida. This is the home to the PAL's many functions including the Holiday House, art classes for adults and children, PAL Member Shows, Third Friday Art & Craft Shows, Christmas in July, and others.

Having been in existence for over 20 years, the PAL, Inc. offers area artists and crafters a stable
and encouraging environment to expose their talents and share with the community. Every year, the PAL gives deserving students from Putnam County, scholarships to further their future in visual arts. The PAL also supports The Home Depot Foundation and their community projects. The artists of the PAL have participated in the painting of many of the murals in downtown Palatka and has recently finished the Wildflower Mural on the corner of St. Johns Ave. and 3rd St. Our artists and crafters also put their works in the Putnam County Fair. We have artists that paint in all mediums, crafters of many types, wood carvers, potters and sculpturs, stained glass artists, quilters, fabric and yarn crafters, and jewerly makers.
