Mission
To preserve Nolan County and the City of Sweetwater's History, to educate the local and national public about our History, to nurture and broaden children's natural inquisitive nature and answer their age old question "Where did I come from?"
The Pioneer Museum's original collection dates covered the span of 1906-1938 when the Ragland family originally occupied the Ragland House. We have recently expanded our collection dates to include 1880-1990. If you have any contributions or questions about the history of our fine county please contact us.
