At Progressions Dance Center, our goal is to teach the love of dance to children and adolescents. We hope to do this through our staffs creativity and professionalism.
- We are committed to providing students with a safe, fun, and nurturing environment that is carefully managed to encourage personal growth and the development of self confidence, self discipline and respect for oneself and others.
- We believe in an age-appropriate approach to the types of movement we teach, the styles of costumes students wear, and the type of music we play.
Chelsea Davis Jernigan
- Chelsea is the owner and operator of Progressions Dance Center.
- She is a native of the Roanoke Valley area.
- She has lived in Seaboard, NC her whole life, and has been dancing since the age of two.
- Chelsea has a passion for dance and is eager to share that passion with her students.
- She is a recent graduate of Meredith College.
- She obtained a B.A. in Dance Education as well as a K-12 NC Teaching License.
- Chelsea has studied ballet, tap, clogging, lyrical, jazz, and modern dance prior to and duringher time at Meredith College.
- Now that her education is complete, she is ready to distribute her knowledge to all students who are interested in dance.
