The Library extends beyond its physical walls by offering materials, assistance and resources accessible by electronic means. The Quincy Public Library serves as a center for information discovery, promotes life-long learning, and encourages the exchange of ideas reflecting all points of view.
Get your Wii on at the Quincy Public Library as the library launches its new gaming program for teens called Wii Wednesdays. Teens are invited to come and duke it out for the title of Wii bowler, tennis pro, dance queen and other Wii accolades. Every Wednesday afternoon at 3 p.m. the Wii cart will be set up in the large meeting room at the back of the building by the movie area. After a hectic day at school, teens can take some time out to relax, gather with friends, share a snack and beat their BFF at Super Mario 2 or Just Dance 2. Games provided include Super Mario 2, Wii Sports, FlingSmash and Just Dance 2. So tap into your inner star and grab your controllers as you get down to the new renovated library for some gaming fun!
