Royal Palace Theatre

Royal Palace Theatre is the cornerstone of the Carolina Crossroads Music and Entertainment District, located at Exit 171 off I-95 in Roanoke Rapids. The 1,500-seat, state-of-the-art facility was built by the City of Roanoke Rapids in 2006 as a premier tourist attraction for the region and the State of North Carolina. The Royal Palace Theater offers over 250 internet sweepstakes machines and host major performances including nationally-known country, rock, R&B and beach music acts, along with Broadway shows and various other theatrical productions."

Parking & Entrances

All parking is conveniently located and free. Guests may be conveniently dropped off at front, grand ballroom entrance or at one of our marked THEATRE ONLY entrances on the North and South sides of the theatre. All entrances to are fully accessible and ADA compliant.

Elevators

Although both the orchestra and the mezzanine seats are easily accessible on the first floor, we do have an elevator for access to the Royal Club and the VIP boxes.

Wheelchair & Limited Mobility Seating

Seating next to a companion is available to patrons who use wheelchairs. When buying tickets to a performance at The Royal Palace, let the ticket agent know that a guest is attending in a wheelchair. Trained staff and volunteers are available to assist with seating and accommodating mobility devices.

Restrooms

Accessible restrooms for men and women are located on the left and the right side of the main floor of the grand ballroom and on the left side of the second floor.
