Sci-Tech Museum

• The Sci-Tech Museum of Northern New York is a year-round, hands-on museum of science and technology.
• More than 40 interactive exhibits designed to spark the interest and imagination of visitors are offered in our 3,600 ft. facility.
• The Museum operates as the only hands-on science museum in Northern New York. We are located on Stone Street in Watertown.

The Sci-Tech Museum strives to accomplish the following goals:

• Develop participatory exhibits, demonstrations, and programs in the basic sciences and their technological applications
• Enable the general public to gain a first-hand experience with natural phenomena and man-made devices
• Serve as a resource for formal educational programs
• Foster interest in scientific , engineering, and industrial careers
• Communicate to the public a better understanding and appreciation of science and the derived technology

With these goals in mind, The Sci-Tech Museum developes and maintains numerous programs and activities. The Museum is an educational and cultural resource for the community.

• The Sci-Tech Center of Northern New York is a section 501(c)(3) corporation established in 1983 to help the public gain a better understanding of Science and Technology. This is done through participitory exhibits and programs in various scientific disciplines.
• The Sci-Tech Center brings a wide variety of programs and activities to families throughout Northern New York.
• The Sci-Tech Center is "A Playground for Your Mind..."
