Scurry County Library
The Scurry County Library opened in June 1958. The Library serves Scurry County and the surrounding counties.
The Scurry County Library is a charter member of the Texas State Library and Archives Commission. As a part of the State Library System, it is a member of the Big Country Library System, based in Abilene, Texas.
Because the Library is a member of the Texas State Library System, the Scurry County Library enjoys the benefits of the TexShare program.

Kids Korner
Story time
Come join us every Monday at 10:00 a.m. for fun activities with stories, puppet shows and crafts. Ages 3-5.
Summer Reading Program
Scheduled each summer for Pre-K through 12th grade.
Our Summer Reading Program allows kids to record their time spent reading and, at the end of the summer, will receive prizes based on how much time they turned in. Over the course of the program, kids will be invited to participate in many activities held at the Library. The program this year will begin June 12!
