A Trip Back in Time!

The South Central Kentucky Cultural Center is dedicated to telling the story of the people, places and events that make up the geographic area known as the "Barrens" - Metcalfe, Allen, Hart and Monroe Counties, as well as Barren County. The museum is housed in the old Kentucky Pants factory in downtown Glasgow.

Come join us for a trip back in time at the South Central Kentucky Cultural Center where we are dedicated to telling story of the people, places and events that make up the geographic area known as the "Barrens" - Metcalfe, Allen, Hart and Monroe Counties, as well as Barren County.

At the South Central Kentucky Cultural Center you can learn how the people of the Barrens have lived over the years. Group tours are available and we are wheel chair accessible. We also have a large banquet room that can be rented for meetings, training seminars, reunions and special events.
