We offer a wide variety of opportunities and services so that South Dakota's students, teachers and families have increased access to hands-on science exploration and fun. See our annual events and community outreach pages for more information.
Founded in 1989 as a state Centennial project, our science center is housed in an historic building that used to be the power plant for the city of Pierre. Our facility makes a great backdrop for family portraits, senior photos and even wedding photos (regular entrance fees apply.)
