Established in the Sierra foothills in 1984.
Artists Rosemary Nightingale & Tim Friesen settled on their 'home place' 29 years ago. There's a meadow, creek, and clustered oak trees surrounding their rustic home with herb gardens, a potting shed, small nursery, and gift shop that look out on a stunning view of the Sierra. with a Lavender field growing over 12 varieties. They love outdoor living. Their inspiring art can be seen throughout the gardens and in their gift shop. Rosemary lectures locally and at the San Francisco-Seattle Flower & Garden Shows. Their private gardens were featured on PBS 'California Heartland', HGTV's 'Gardening by the Yard', 'Hey Kids, Let's Cook', the 'Herb Quarterly' and 'Homestead' magazine.
