Starved Rock Adventures
Starved Rock Adventures is Illinois' premier water resort located only 5 minutes from Starved Rock State Park inside Starved Rock Marina-just 90 miles southwest of Chicago in the beautiful Illinois River Valley. We offer houseboat rentals and vacations for 3, 4, and 7 days as well as waterfront lodging with our harborside villas and suites which are built right on the water.
In addition to our overnight accommodations, we offer a variety of watercraft for day rentals that include pontoon boats, speedboats, and jet skis. Renting a pontoon boat or speedboat from us gives you access to our private island beach where you can sun, swim, or just relax. Weekends are especially busy here so reservations are strongly encouraged to ensure that you will be able to rent the boat of your choice. Day rentals are available seven days a week, weather and river conditions permitting, from April 1 to October 31. Many of our guests return year after year and we want you to do so as well.
At our Starved Rock State Park location we operate our daily tour boat, The Belle of the Rock, and rent canoes. The Belle of the Rock is an authentic, narrated paddlewheel boat tour that operates a full schedule seven days a week May through October and is also available for private bookings for special events. You can see Starved Rock itself, Starved Rock Lock and Dam, and the Plum Island Eagle Sanctuary from the water-excellent for taking pictures.
