STARZ Performing Arts Academy

Welcome to STARZ Performing Arts Academy. STARZ offers professional instruction in a positive, nurturing environment. Our program provides well-rounded education with emphasis on technique, performance, and an appreciation of the arts. STARZ offers classes in ballet, lyrical, contemporary, modern, stretching & conditioning, pointe, jazz, hip-hop, tap, and tumbling. Our annual recitals are held in late May and early June of each year.

At STARZ we offer dance company competition team options by invitation or audition. Those auditioning must have at least one year of previous dance instruction. Our company dancers perform locally and also compete at regional and national competitions. STARZ company competition teams include: STARZ ELITE (Pre-professional company), Showstopper Company, Starbound Company, Starlet Company, & Mini Starlet Company.

We at STARZ Performing Arts Academy are dedicated to the physical, mental and artistic development of our students. Our program of instruction and performance helps our students to develop confidence and pride through participation in a structured class environment. The dedicated, creative faculty at STARZ PERFORMING ARTS ACADEMY takes pride in offering the two Virginias an exceptional program in dance and performing arts education.
