where our mission is to connect people to the land and the role of local agriculture in their lives.

Stonewall Farm is a nonprofit working farm and educational center. We are the only working dairy farm and education center in the region open to the public. We operate a 30 head certified organic dairy, a year-round community supported agriculture (CSA) garden, farmstand and a Learning Center that draws 20,000 visitors per year. Set in a scenic valley, the Farm consists of pastures, fields and woodlands and is open, free of charge, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

History

Stonewall Farm on Chesterfield Road in Keene, has been in agricultural use for the past 250 years. The rich history goes back to the mid 1700's to Samuel Daniels who owned the property and sold it to his son John in 1759. Later this property was divided and changed ownership several times until it was purchased by Isaiah Robbins in 1832. The property was in the Robbins family for 76 years but was eventually sold to Swedish immigrants named "Johnson" who had about 50 cows and created a milk delivery service in the Keene area.

Join our camp family and enjoy summer days filled with fun, farming and friendship! We blend a variety of farm experiences with nature study and traditional camp favorites to create a unique program for campers ages 4 - 15. Two counselors for every group, means campers are in safe hands with our professional camp staff. Starting at 8 years old, campers have the option of staying for our Thursday night camp out! Whether this is your first year as a camper or your fifth, Stonewall Farm Summer Camp is an experience not to be missed! Camp hours are from 9:00 am - 3:00 pm with morning and after camp care options. You can sign up for one week or all six!
