Our Mission at Studio H is to teach the art, discipline, and love of dance and gymnastics to all ages in order that we might exalt and glorify God.
About Heidi Lynch - Owner/Instructor
Heidi Lynch is the Owner and Director of Studio H. Heidi began her dancing over 30 years ago at the age of 3. She was trained in tap, ballet, jazz, and tumbling for 8 years in Sabetha, Kansas and Fall City, Nebraska. At the age of 10 she began training under Beth Bell for 7 years in Ottawa, Kansas. She has performed in 42nd Street, Oklahoma, Brigadoon, Sound of Music, and numerous other musicals and plays. Heidi began taking Master classes from Jennifer Barringer, Amy Blake, Joe Tremaine, and Art Stone at the age of 12. She began teaching as an assistant in tumbling, ballet ,tap and jazz at age 13 and taught through high school and college. At a high school level Heidi earned the National NCAA Superstar Award and qualified to perform at the Rose Bowl in 1990. Heidi was chosen 2 years in a row to be a VIP at state and regional competitions. After winning a Regional Tremaine Competition Heidi competed in Nationals in New York City in 1989.
Heidi's 1st dance studio in Ottawa was Heidi's All-Star Dance in 1998. Recently, Heidi has continued her dance education at Dramatic Truth Intensive Workshop, studying under Aaron Chen and Dance Olympus, under Amy Blake, Angie Carter, Sarah Jo Fazio, Jon Finck, Jennifer Russell, and Brian Santora.Studio H was opened in 2008 and she is so thankful the Lord has given her an outlet to share her passion for dance and the children in the community.
