Adventure Awaits You Here In The Trees!

Fun in the great outdoors-There's nothing like a day at The Adventure Park at The Discovery Museum! Within five beautiful acres of woodland behind the Museum building you will find our amazing "aerial forest park." Experience "adventure in the trees" that's perfect just for you or with friends, family and parties, ages 7 to adult.

Look up-You will see a series of platforms in the trees connected by various configurations of cable, wood, rope and zip lines to form bridges. Each bridge presents a different challenge of how to get to the next platform. A series of bridges form "aerial trails" that proceed throughout the forest, from one tree platform to the next. There are eight different trails to choose from that you can enjoy at your own pace.

Relax-You don't have to be a circus acrobat or Tarzan to enjoy The Adventure Park! There's something for everyone. Choose from eight different color-coded trails, ranging from "beginner" (easier and lower to the ground) through intermediate to expert (the most challenging). Select the level you're comfortable with.

Climb with Confidence-Our double-connected, "always-locked-on" climbing system helps keep your climbing harness securely attached to the safety lines throughout your time in the trees. Before going on the trails you will receive a complete safety orientation so you are prepared for the climb. Otherwise, our trails are intentionally designed for your self-discovery, making lessons unnecessary. Our Park Guides are available to assist throughout your visit.
