The Arts Center School of Music and Dance
The Arts Center School of Music and Dance is where dreams begin and artists excel! The Arts Center School of Music and Dance is a training ground that will provide the finest music and dance lessons to toddlers through adults.
Our dance school features a large studio with high ceilings for a sense of freedom in movement. Free floating floor, double barres, full length mirrors, and two bathrooms add to the safety and enjoyment of the student. The free floating floors are designed to minimize leg and back stress.
OUR FACILITY
To provide the very best music and dance education experience, special attention must be paid to the environment. The Arts Center School of Music and Dance is opened in the fall of 2008 with the finest and newest facility designed specifically for music and dance instruction.
There is an abundance of paved, well lit parking for the safety of our dancers and their families.
The spacious lobby area features reception desk, seating, two bathrooms, and an observation window to aid the parents in following the progress of their child.
Our Philosophy
The Arts Center School of Music and Dance opened its doors the fall of 2008 with our dance program and in fall of 2009 we introduced our music program. The Arts Center welcomes you into our music and dance family. Our primary goal is for the development of our students, their education, and the enrichment that comes from studying music and dance. Our positive atmosphere builds self-esteem and the love of their art form. The Arts Center School of Music and Dance is a place where musicians and dancers can be enriched in their craft and flourish in the arts.
We Believe in Technique and Classical Training
Classical training in dance and music lays a solid foundation for all genres in the arts. Classical training is the most disciplined and demanding way to learn an art form, but also the most rewarding. Accomplishing that solid classical training is key in becoming a successful artist. Classes are carefully designed to increase technical skills, stamina, and discipline appropriate for student's age and physical and mental development.
We Believe in Each Student
Every student benefits from taking classes in the arts, even though they may not pursue a career in the arts. Students can learn discipline, team work, gain confidence and creative thinking skills to push themselves further in the arts. All these skills will enhance your child's academic performance as well as their physical well-being.
