About the Erwin Center
Since 1977, the Frank Erwin Center has fulfilled its mission of serving the greater Austin area with the most spectacular live entertainment. It is deep in the heart of 51,000 University of Texas students and more than 1.7 million people in the greater Austin area. The convenient location off of IH-35 is within walking distance of downtown Austin and the Texas Capitol.
Driving Directions:
From North Austin
- Take Mopac south, exit Enfield/15th Street, turn left onto 15th street (headed east), turn left at Red River (headed north) and the Frank Erwin Center will be on your right.
- Take IH35 south, exit Martin Luther King Blvd., turn right onto Martin Luther King Blvd. (headed west), turn left at Red River (headed south) and the Frank Erwin Center will be on your left.
From South Austin
- Take Mopac north, exit Enfield/15th Street, turn right onto 15th street (headed east), turn left at Red River (headed north) and the Frank Erwin Center will be on your right.
- Take IH35 north, exit 15th street, turn left onto 15th street (headed west), turn right (headed north) at Red River and the Frank Erwin Center will be on your right.
