About Us
The Great American Park LLC was dreamed up by its founder, John L. Glass, who wanted to create a fun, family-oriented place to enjoy the sports of mud riding and rock crawling. Designed for both riders and spectators alike, the park's purpose is to provide a clean, safe place with a lively atmosphere to spend time with family and friends while watching and participating in our events. The Great American Park offers a variety of challenges for all vehicle types. Additional challenges and riding areas will be constructed in several phases.
The Field of Dreams consists of several mud riding areas for trucks of all types: the Boomerang, the Big Amazon, the Rock Springs, the Hogwallow, and the Stock Cage. Each of these areas consists of mud holes of varying degrees of difficulty from moderate to extreme. The Big Amazon and Hogwallow are mostly flat areas of mud with ruts and holes, while the Boomerang and Rock Springs are unique mud riding challenges. The Stock Cage is a flat mud area for stock trucks with tire size 35" and under,
For our ATV and UTV riders, we have the Dixie Waterbowl, which is a mud riding course for ATVs that includes a track, mud pit, and water holes, and the Scat Track, a fast-paced track with bowl curves and hills designed specifically for ATVs, UTVs, and dirt bikes. The park also has miles upon miles of ATV trails.
The Powercrawl consists of seven rock crawling obstacles: the Mariana Trench, the Achille's Hill, Marc's Wall, Spencer's Jaws, Dragger's Bone, Court's Revenge, Jade Breaker, Stick & Stones, McGhar's Pain, and the Ledge of Faith. Each of the obstacles consists of varying degrees of difficulty from moderate to extreme. Each challenge incorporates natural land elevations in addition to small to large sized rocks.
The Federal Firebreak is a perimeter trail around the property that allows spectators in rigs of all types to view the park.
We also have new combination trails for trucks and UTVs called the Warrior Pass Trails.
