The oldest continually operated saloon in North America dating back to the late 1700's. The only bar in Maryland to exist before, during, and prohibition. The Horse you Came in on Saloon has been at the heart of Baltimore's local live music scene for over fifty years. With over 20 live performances a week "The Horse" as known by locals is still kicking. We are open 7 days a week with live music from open til close. Legend has it that "The Horse" was the last place the great American author and poet Edgar Allan Poe was seen the night before his mysterious death.
