After several fruitless attempts to lose weight and establish a fitness program, I decided on two new goals. First, I would set a maximum weight to maintain and second, find a personal trainer to set a successful fitness program so that I could regain a healthy well-being. When I had the nerve to explore the idea of a personal trainer, I visited with Laura Bailey and decided that she could help me with a program. That was an excellent decision. She is a professional trainer who works very hard to help me achieve my goals. She asked questions concerning those goals and has set a program for me to follow. Each week she answers any questions I have and has a new set of workout exercises for me to do. I am sure that the MAC has many good trainers, but I feel that Laura is outstanding, as a personal trainer. I would recommend her without any hesitation.

"Samantha is great swimming instructor. She is very patient and will work with your schedule in every possible manner. She will go over the basics, give you enough time to practice, check your form, and take time to answer any questions you may have. I highly recommend her to anyone who wants to learn how to swim or improve their skills.

My son was greatly impressed with the club -- it's size, number or machines, number of personal trainers, the spin, exercise and swim classes and the number of members attending.

He's training for about his 5th marathon, so I expected him to be running on the treadmills. Instead, he was trying out as many of the machines as he could... Keep up the good work!

Joining The MAC was one of the best decisions our family has made. With great workout facilities and sports programming, our entire family enjoys the club. The staff is one of the top reasons we loveto go to the club! The Mac is like our second home

I was so nervous at my first class, but my instructor was extremely helpful and encouraging. It has now been 5 months and I have never been in better shape!

So glad I decided to give it a try.

The MAC has changed my life. I have met some wonderful people at this gym and I actually enjoy working out now.

For the past several years I have been working out regularly at the M.A.C. Xtreme Club and I'm extremely impressed with the professionalism of the staff each time I came to work out. They are very friendly and always so happy to see me. They are also very encouraging. It was little over a year ago I started working with a personal trainer (Brent Fourtner) to improve my workouts and develop new workout routines to attain my goals. I was very impressed with Brent and the creative and fun training sessions. I committed to it and stayed faithful to my training sessions week after week. The first week I have to say was the hardest. I just kept coming week after week and soon it became routine and just a part of my day. June 9th completed a full year of training. I am transformed and feel like a new person. I have lost 53 pounds and 37 inches.

I am just wrapping up my last 2 sessions with Steph at the Marion MAC location.

He has done an excellent job. He is very detailed. He explains each circuit so not only am I getting the most out of my workout but I'm also preventing any potential injury.

I will have met with Steph 10 times

and we never once did an exercise twice. So, I really enjoy the variety of workouts. He also had me on a rotation where we would do an extremely difficult workout and then the next time we met we would do a recovery workout. This seemed to work best for my body. Steph gave me tips on what to do once our sessions are complete and also what to do on the days I did not meet with him. He had helpful tips on eating habits, cardio, weight training and many other pointers. Steph is very motivating. There were many times I wasn't sure I'd be able to finish a circuit or complete all the reps but he helped me through it, told me to take my time, watch my form and push through. Had I not been working with Steph I wouldn't have done these past 10 workouts. I'm so excited that he has whipped me into shape before the Big Day! I would recommend Steph to anyone and I'd be happy to act as a referral for him.
