The Space Sketch Comedy Theatre provides unique, quality entertainment you can't see anywhere else in Oklahoma. Completely original, locally crafted, live sketch comedy and music by Oklahomans, for Oklahomans.
Tickets are $15 online, $20 at the door.
We believe OKC is ready for some fresh and exciting entertainment options. Our Artistic Director, Topher Owen, was with The Second City as a main stage actor, director, musical director, and instructor for over a decade. He returned to Oklahoma in 2007 to visit family and ended up staying here to marry his long-lost high school sweetheart. Now, Topher and Monica Owen, along with co-owners Matt and Tiffany Roberts, are thrilled to bring the experience of professional sketch comedy entertainment and training to OKC!
Our shows are cast written and express the unique voices and experiences of each member. Performances are dynamic adventures unlike anything you've experienced in Oklahoma. All content is completely original, overflowing with captivating characters, inspiring musical numbers and deeply satisfying laughter.
Our larger vision for The Space is not only as a sketch comedy venue and bar, but also as a setting for showcasing other local talent including music, films, art shows, etc. Incredible things happen when creative circles overlap!
We also want Oklahoma artists to have the option of top notch training in-state! Therefore, The Space proudly offers professional instruction in Improvisation for Life, Advanced Improvisation, The Conservatory, Sketch Writing and more!!!
The Space is a hate-free zone promoting diversity and inclusion. We believe creative communities thrive when they collaborate rather than compete. We will encourage everyone to take classes and enjoy shows at ALL local venues. There is plenty to go around and the more the merrier!!
