The Three Rivers Regional Library System provides services for public libraries and their patrons in Brantley, Camden, Charlton, Glynn, Long, McIntosh and Wayne counties.

The administrative offices of Three Rivers Regional Library System are located in the Brunswick-Glynn County Library in Brunswick, Georgia. In its earliest incarnation, the library system was known as the Brunswick-Glynn County Regional Library, and it served Glynn and Camden counties.

When public libraries in the other counties were later added, the name was changed to Three Rivers Regional Library System, a tribute to the three rivers - the Altamaha, the Satilla and the St. Marys - that run through the region.

The member libraries are:

  • Brantley County Library
  • Brunswick-Glynn County Library, Brunswick, Glynn County
  • Camden County Public Library
  • Charlton Public Library Inc.
  • Hog Hammock Public Library, Sapelo Island, McIntosh County
  • Ida Hilton Public Library, Darien, McIntosh County
  • Long County Public Library, Ludowici, Long County
  • St. Marys Public Library, St. Marys, Camden County
  • St. Simons Island Public Library, St. Simons Island, Glynn County
  • Wayne County Library, Jesup, Wayne County

Three Rivers member libraries own more than 350,000 items and boast an annual circulation of more than 850,000 items region-wide. All Three Rivers libraries are members of Georgia PINES--Public Information Network for Electronic Services. Library patrons have access to more than 9 million items at more than 275 public libraries in Georgia. PINES offers many advantages that most Georgia libraries could not provide individually, including one statewide library card and free materials loans between member libraries.
