Twin Lakes Sporting Club
Twin Lakes Sporting Club was established in 1991. It is located on a 1400-acre family grain-crop farm, 15 miles southwest of Mexico, Missouri, or about 30 Miles Northeast of Columbia, MO. or 120 miles west of St. Louis along I-70. Our 1280-acre hunting preserve provides all the needs for a successful hunt without the hassles associated with locating a place to hunt, poor cover, local limits and few birds.
We have worked with the Missouri Department of Conservation since 1986, planting over 10,000 trees as well as planting food plots and managing for native grasses.
We believe that this natural cover along with our hard flying birds offers the type of hunting the discriminating hunter is looking for. Hunting at a well, managed, hunting preserve can be far sportier than so called open hunting on most farmlands. This is because the cover and wildlife habitat are so much better developed. It's a sorry fact that there is now more wildlife habitat on a good hunting preserve than there is on most farms.
Twin Lakes Sporting Club is in our 22nd season in the hunting preserve business. We have discontinued the sporting clays, and banquet facility, part of our operation. When we began we told you that we were not a Country Club but a Club in the Country, and that is how we have remained. Muddy boots and dogs are welcome in our clubhouse. We still strive to have the best birds released in the most natural setting that we can provide, with as reasonable a price as possible. The big improvement since we began, is the better quality of birds. Hopefully that will continue.
If you have any questions about are operation please contact us and we will do our best to provide you with all the information needed.
