Venango Museum of Art, Science and Industry
The Museum is vitally involved in the region's cultural and economic growth by collaborating with private, local and state agencies. a501(C) 3 private non-profit organization, which has been serving the region since 1961 by collecting, interpreting and exhibiting artifacts relevant to the region.
Our Mission...
The preservation and conservation of its holdings and the beautiful Beaux Arts building it occupies, which is listed in the National Register of Historic Places. Presenting science and technology instruction to students and creating opportunities for the public to enjoy art and musical programs.
The Museum holds in its collections a vast array of interesting artifacts, photographs and documents that reflect the rich tradition in the Oil Region.

- An Eclipse and Simplex engine manufactured by the Oil Well Supply Company
- Glass negatives from the Oil Well Supply Company
- A replica of an original Reid Engine
- The 1928 Wurlitzer Theatre Organ

- A 1937 Cord Automobile
- A letter from Chief Cornplanter's heirs
- A letter written by Abraham Lincoln to a local resident
- Telegraph machines used by Standard Oil while located in the National Transit Building
