Mission

  • To provide library services to all people in the Vermillion area: individuals and groups of every age, economic level, occupation, ethnic origin, philosophy, and human condition.
  • The purpose of the library is to maintain a current collection of print and non-print materials in all areas: educational, social, political, occupational, creative, and spiritual.

Tech Center

Currently there are six computers and one printer available for for public use during open library hours. The Tech Center will be expanded to include twelve computer in the near future. The first ten prints are free, after which the cost is 10 cents per page.

Meeting Rooms

  • The South Dakota Room can be reserved for small group meetings of approximately 14 people. Call the Library at 677-7060 to book this room in advance.
  • The Community Room is also available for booking larger groups. Call the Library at 677-7060 to book this room in advance.

An Outreach Book Route is available for members of the community who are unable to come to the library themselves
