Vineland Public Library
The Vineland Public Library, as a cornerstone of Vineland's educational and cultural foundation, is dedicated to responding to the expressed and anticipated informational and lifelong learning needs of its diverse community. To accomplish this mission, the Library relies on a highly qualified staff, a balance of print and technology, and a network of resources beyond its walls.
One of the Vineland Public Library's best assets is its wonderful Children's Department. Located on the 2nd floor (accessible by an elevator for people with disabilities), the Children's Department has a large collection of children's books and many other resources, such as puppets, that may be borrowed. Children ages 12 and younger are welcome to use the five children's computers and children ages 6 and younger are welcome to use the four computers in the Parent/Toddler Area. The Children's Department offers many events and activities such as Baby, Preschool and Toddler Story Times, Book Discussions and Family Nights.
Vineland Public Library has several meeting rooms available to organizations engaged in educational, cultural, intellectual or charitable activities. Use of the meeting room may not interfere with the most effective utilization of library facilities for library purposes. Meetings held in the Library's meeting rooms must be open to the public. Meeting rooms may not be reserved for regularly scheduled meetings.
Teen Room
The library has a Teen Room where local teens can hang out after school. The room features computers, study tables and comfortable seating. Talking and eating are permitted in this room. Check signage on the door for our hours!
