The WVU Mountaineer is an emblem of pride, passion, and courage. He represents West Virginia as much as WVU. He is a symbol of the rugged Mountaineer spirit that lives in all of us who call-or have called-these mountains home. In our inaugural season in the Big 12 Conference, we want our fans-and our new conference friends-to feel that spirit too.
