Wild Water West

For the sixth consecutive year, the international aquatic safety-consulting firm of Ellis and Associates Inc. has awarded its "Platinum" National Aquatic Safety Award to Wild Water West Waterpark. Ellis and Associates is an aquatic safety-consulting firm that provides lifeguard training and safety consulting for more than 80% of the waterparks in the U.S.

Throughout the operating season, the company sends representatives to perform safety evaluations for each facility and provides the parks with a safety rating, with "Platinum" being the highest. Auditors look for a variety of details including behavior, attentiveness and professionalism! Details that are all covered and retained during training. Details that could one day save a life. It may appear to be a fun and glamorous job, and in many ways it is. But lifeguarding requires physical stamina, hours of skill review and an attention to detail. We are proud to announce that 18 of our lifeguards were chosen to receive the prestigious "Golden Guard" award for being nationally recognized the Best of the Best in aquatic management.
