As a not-for-profit arts center, our goal is to bring you in for a performance and leave you with something to talk about, laugh about, hum on your way home, share with friends.
We present shows for grown-ups, with café and bar to keep the crowd mingling. Shows on the big screen, from blockbusters to award-winning independent films and documentaries. Shows for kids, with plenty of audience participation. Shows for families, making memories together.
Since our doors opened in 2005, we've welcomed more than 80,000 enthusiastic patrons and talented performers to experience Auburn Public Theater. Year-round programming in our multi-space venue has brought new life to downtown Auburn.

Auburn Public Theater is an intimate, publicly accessible and affordable theater space in downtown Auburn, New York, that challenges and educates our community and fosters creative growth through shared performance experiences.
