Families First Mission
Families First strengthens our community by empowering families with parent education and learning through play.
Organizational History
Families First was established in April 1994. The initial focus of the organization was Parenting Programs, which provides parenting information and support to anyone raising children. The operating principles were derived from Families First- Boston, but we remain unique and independent.
Families First broadened their focus in 2002 and opened the Families First Children's Museum. The Families First Children's Museum offers fun, interactive and educational exhibits and programs that promote learning through play. In keeping with the mission of Families First, the Museum provides an environment which fosters positive parenting through interaction, exploration and play.
Together Parenting Programs and the Children's Museum offer valuable resources to families in western Montana.
